April 30 – The Provincial Command Royal Canadian Legion Bursary

The Provincial Command Royal Canadian Legion Bursary valued at $500. These bursaries are open to students who are  children, grandchildren or great grandchildren of veterans. Definition of a veteran: any person who is serving or has served honourably in the Armed Forces of Canada, The Commonwealth or its Wartime Allies; or who has served in the Merchant Navy or Ferry Command during Wartime Applicants may be attending college or university next year. Financial need is a primary consideration. Deadline for application is April 30, 2012.
