May 15 Holland College Scholarships

Holland College scholarship applications are now available in Student Services and on the College website at www.hollandcollege.com//alumni_and_foundation/awards.php. There are several awards available. Some are specific to particular programs:

ATV Media for Journalism or Graphic Design,

Bottler Award for Environmental Applied Science Technology,

Atlantic Turbines International Inc. for Aircraft Gas Turbine Engine Repair and Overhaul, Wright Family Scholarship for Carpentry, Plumbing or Electrical Technology,

Jamie Bone Memorial Award for Commercial Diving,

David Harding Leadership Award for Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts.

Four to five awards are for students registered in the ASAP Program

Some awards are for students with a disability

The following 6 awards are for any program:

- Connolly Financial Group Lock Llewellyn Memorial Scholarship valued at $500.00 for leadership in academics and athletics

- Holland College President’s Award of Excellence valued at full tuition : Selection criteria include a minimum of 80% average and leadership in athletics, school, work, and/or community. Two reference letters and a personal essay are required.

- Samuel Holland Entrance Scholarship valued at $3000.00:

Selection criteria include a minimum of 70% average in Grade 12 courses. One teacher reference letter is required.

- Town of Souris Scholarship: Applicants must be graduating from SRHS, have an average of at least 75%, aptitude for the Holland College program, and community and/or volunteer involvement. Return this application to SRHS Student Services.

- The Wanda Wyatt Scholarships valued at first year tuition: Selection criteria include high academics and an aptitude for or interest in the cultural or artistic dimension of life. Two reference letters and a personal statement are required.

- Harrison McCain Bursaries valued at $1000.00 Financial need is a primary consideration.

 

Deadline for ALL applications is May 15 .
